My session 400 performs ok for quite a long time and suddenly begins to squeal and when I switch it off/on its back to normal again, also the on/off switch has been replaced recently and the capacitor on the switch was lost, Can anyone give advice on this problem thanks,

Hey Stewart,

I had the same problem sometime last year with my limited. I would be playing, then suddenly the amp would scream with piercing highs. I resolved the problem by cutting the reverb all the way off. My reverb tank just needed to be replaced.

Hope that helps
