I've recently added a lexicon MPX 110 in my chain.
My question is, do I leave my Black Box where it's at, or do I need to move it somewhere else in the chain? Right now I have BB imput to my steel imput, then my BB output to my VP imput. Then come out of my VP into the A side of my A+B box, then out of the B side of my A+B box to my Award session acoustic preamp, then out of the com of A+B box into my Nashville 1000. Is my Black Box in the right place, or do I need to do some switching around. I don't seem to be hearin the tube warmth of my BB since I added my Lexicon 110. I reckon the Lexicon has probly got a lot to do with that no?? Confused Smile

Where is the MPX110? Is it in the effects loop of the 1000? If not, that's probably where I would put it.

Makes no difference what is after.
ALWAYS keep the BB right after the steel.

Steel/ cable/ Blackbox/ cable/ distortion or volume pedal/ cable/
distortion cabled to effects or effects cabled to distortion / cable / etc etc amp.

Depends on what you are using.

You can fade into distortion of have distrotion on full and fade up etc.

BUT the main point is:

The PICKUP sees the BLACKBOX with nothing in between.
