My Pedalmaster when adjusting the nylon tuners make a popping jester and go's very quickly from flat to sharp or vice versa..when tuning..
What would make my Pedalmaster do that.Only on two string though.. It has the same changer as the older 2003-4-5-6 GFI's I believe!
Springs?? rods? or what? Simple or major?
Please advise and thanks. |

That's usually a spacer hanging up where it meets the finger, and then releasing as the finger moves. If there's such a spacer behind the nylon nut, remove it and slightly round the end of it (that faces the changer finger) with a file, and then reinstall it. Your "popping/jumping" problem should be gone. |

If The popping occurs when you turn the nylon nut,the fit on the rod may be too tight. Try running the nut in and out a few times to create some wear |

I will check that. There are no spacers on the rods or tuner ends.
Thanks again.............. |
