First I want to thank Albert and the gang for inviting Joan and I back this year. Thanks to Randy Corner and Lynn Owens for playing with me on my set.

Now to Jackson. I want to thank David, Harry and Dawn for thier hospitality in the Jackson room. They had the entire line of Jackson guitars there for everyone to try. My new Shot Jackson model is beautiful with tone to the bone. David also sent me a Jackson Xtreme a few weeks before the show to test drive in the studio. I did a track for Dawn with it and also did a track off my Life After Nashville CD titled "You Took Her Off My Hands". That track will be up on the Jackson web site soon. The Xtreme is a very different guitar. Though it has the same mechanics as the Shot Jackson model it has it's own unique sound. With the double pickups and low profile aluminum neck this guitar is totally different from anything else on the market. In the tradition that started in 1955 Jackson in making new strides in the design of pedal steel guitars.
