It’s time to let this one go…

Fessenden Pedal Steel Guitar, D10 laquer w/8 pedals + 7 knee levers, ~4 years old.
• Body by (Mark) Giles in beautiful hard maple top with cocobolo front/rear aprons. Custom MOP ‘Fessenden’ logo inlaid into front apron.
• Standard E9/C6 (Emmons) setup.
• Bill Lawrence 710 pickups.
• Exc. mechanical and cosmetic condition.
• Comes with original dark grey ozite-covered hardshell case.

I'm biased, but I think this thing has a tone that kills.

$2950.00
Thanks.

he he Steve, thanks, see, one of my guitars I designed, and it looks same as yours , maple/mahagony, that is one of the most beautiful combinations out there, IMHO..Jerry makes great guitars and I would not think twice to get another one of his guitars, if I didn`t have two steel`s already.Good luck selling it, it shouldn`t take too long, it is a beauty with a great tone, a winning combination.

PRICE INCREASE!!!! Whoa!

I am RAISING the price on this steel from $2950.00 to $2960.00 because I received the following e-mail from a Forum member:

Quote:
Probably none of my business, but; Is there an issue or
problem with [your] Fessy that causes you to sell it?? The reason I ask is because I just took delivery on a [similar one for much more money]. As you know, these are 4K (+) new.

I feel that I must raise my price in the interest of fairness.
Thank-you. Mr. Green

You can't fool me, Steve. That's asking too much for that rug. I was born on a Sunday, but it wasn't last Sunday, y'know.

Jim

p.s. Your price on the guitar is probably a little low, btw. I think I've seen them go for more than ten bucks...

Weight steel = 48 lbs; weight case + steel = 67 lbs (add ~5 lbs for actual/packed shipping weight). C6 is Emmons setup posted in links (above) with the exception of an additional half-step raise on string 7 (RKR) on the Fessy. Full copedent shown here:

Hey Steve - Good to hear from you, man! You must be well entrenched and steeped in Chinese culture by now, huh?

Finally, I'd just like to point out that I have had this thing since it was new; it was made for me, and yes - there is some emotional attachment. I'd like to see it go to a good home where I know it will be appreciated. So, if it's all the same to you all, I'd just like to keep it here for sale on the Forum. I have no plans to put the rug up on EBay, no matter what they've sold for in the past! Thank-you.
