Just want to say that I've been working with Roy Thomson's Leavitt tuning on my bottom neck of my T8, and having a ball. Any one interested in this tuning, I do recommend Roy's tab and CD. For sure its a different world of musical thought. Lee

Hey Lee, if that's an 8-string version of the Leavitt, could you spell it out? Thanks...

Stephen: Roy's material is written for the 6 string lap, but to open it up to the 8 string, this is what I have on my T-8
Low to high C, Eb, C#, E, G, Bb, C, D.
Hope this helps... Lee

Lee,
You might be interested in my CD "A Different Slant" available from the Forum here... http://pedalsteelmusic.com/music/mikeihde.html
Roy has done great things with the tuning and I'm glad to see it continue to prosper.
I have over 70 arrangements written by Bill Leavitt and myself in this tuning for 6 string lap if anyone is interested.

Hi Mike. Yes I have your material and CD, and it is well done and produced. Using your material and Roy's should give me a well rounded education with the Leavitt tuning. (with granddaughters (2) weddings and family funerals... just havent had much time lately) Thanks to you and Roy for all your efforts. Lee
