The following was reported in Darrell McCall's fan club letter: McCall and Tom Brumley will perform three or four times a week, live, in a new country music theater on the River Walk in San Antonio, opening the first part of June.
Darrell said, "It was an opportunity, or rather a gift, that I just couldn't walk away from." As much as he loves the dance hall atmosphere, the opportunities for that to happen on a steady basis just aren't as frequent as they used to be. So ....... beginning probably about the first of June or thereabouts, Darrell will call the Aztec Theater his home for pleasing the many country music fans that love his music.
I guess I'll have to move to Texas because that will not be happing here in Iowa. Right Mr.Fred Jack!!

I'll be there opening day, whenever that is. They do not have an opening date yet, but this is going to be a great show in all respects. All traditional country of course....and guaranteed to have nothing but terrific artists. Barry Bales will be playing guitar and arrives soon for rehearsals.
