My wife and I slipped away from The TSGA Jamboree saturday evening to attend the Johnny High Country Music Review in down town Arlington where Reece is the steel and dobro player and a gracious host for us for the evening. We live in the shadows of Branson and know most of the players and shows and I can tell you this "The Johnny High show takes second seat to none others we have seen" They are a well rehearsed and highly talented group. If you ever have the chance, be sure to visit them. www.JohnnieHighCountry.com You can also catch them on RFD-TV which is being broadcast on more and more sources, check your listings.Reece does a wonderful job backing the singing and they feature him often.
Thank you so much, Reece, for putting the icing on Eva and my trip to Texas this year.

Thank you for your very thoughtful and kind words. It was a sincere pleasure to be with you and Eva at our show, and thank you for coming. I'll look forward to seeing you two again soon.
Meanwhile, I trust the "Eagle" is still looking over your shoulder. |

Oh yes indeed Reece ! I'll give a brief explanation of this -- About 4 or 5 years ago, someone made a post on here entitled "Artist outshines Reece" .
This naturally got a lot of attention. Turns out the artist is Reece's daughter, Charice Cooper and she is a fabulous creator and painter. To make a long story shorter, on her web site she had a new creation of an American Bald Eagle named "Strength" who now hangs in my office looking over my shoulder at customers as they set talking to me. He leaves no doubt in anyone's mind when they leave here of the theme we live by "American Built With Pride".
Charice is not only very very talented but just a super neat person . If you would open my web site to the first open page, you will see strength looking over my shoulder and a link to Charice's web site. Enjoy -- www.amkobldgs.com - |

Bill Myrick, you're right! The Johnny High Show is just the way you like it. Maurice Anderson plays the steel just the way you like, too. Whether he's taking a ride or playing fills, it seems to sound just the way it ought to sound....very tasty and never too much or not enough. Johnny High seems like a very pleasant fellow and his granddaughter, I'm sure, makes him very proud....her singing and MC work. The other singers are very talented and the variety of the show keeps your interest. We have dish satelite and get it several times through the week on RFD. |

Reece is a valued old friend and I am delighted that I had so much to do with his and MSAs success. It was my purchase of so many MSAs for myself and my friends that allowed Reece to retire a millionaire. If any of you are interested I have this bridge in Brooklyn that I will make you a fabulous deal on. Please call BR 549. cc |

Wow, Guys and Gals; I didn't know that was Reece playing steel on that show from Arlington, Tx., carried on The RFD Channel on my Dish Network. *I had never heard the host even make a referral to the steel guitar player; I love to hear Reece play one of his Non-Pedal Guitars. Certainly a fine musician; and if Mickey Adams admirers the guy, he's a friend of mine, too..Bernie _________________ 2007 Zum S-10; 1967 Sho-Bud [ D-10 ]; 85 S-10 Sierra; 1953 Multi-Kord [ 6 String- 4 pedals ] A Sho-Bro six String Resonator Guitar; Nashville 112 Amp; hilton Vol. Pedal |

The singers often give Reece credit during the songs. He does sound great, and the whole band is terrific. It's the best thing on TV if you like country music. |

My respect and admiration for Reece goes back to 1976 when I bought a new MSA D10 Classic Wood (green)
I often wonder who the lucky person is who got that guitar. I heard it ended up in New York State. The identifier would be a little plaque I had made and stuck to the left front. It read: Custom made for Bent Romnes by MSA Micro Inc. |

I've had the pleasure of going to the Johnny High show with Maurice the last two weeks, can't begin to tell you how much fun it's been!!! Great talent on the show, and just as nice as can be. Great band!!! it would be the perfect job!!!!
I've had the pleasure of calling Maurice my friend, mentor, & Steel Guitar Hero for over 38 years now.. you will not meet a better person in you live time ... If you ever get the chance to meet him, you won't be sorry, and to study with him, well, it is a new musical adventure...so much insight on why, what , & how to play... well, I guess I've humped his leg long enough
now I just need to get Terese to cook us some breakfast |

What is so unique about my friend Reece is that he can give you a conversation other than guitars. He knows his sports, cars, dogs and etc. of course when we discuss music he blows me away. But with so many friends and commitments he always has time for you without missing a beat. That is a real friend! |
