Hi,
I stumbled upon this tuning while noodling around with a D9...

D13 (top to bottom)

E
C
A
F#
D
B

It's got a pair of minor triads (B-/A-), major triad (D), diminished (F#), plus D7, D9 and D13.

Coolios... I'm going to try my B11 with a G# on the 7th string now.

This is an old tuning. I've used this for one of my solo songs in Joliet a few years ago.

Dick McIntire used this tuning on many of his recordings, also the F#9th. The D9th was also a favorite tuning of Merle Kekuku who played a very small Teisco 6 string steel which could fit into a normal suitcase.
