I attended the Friday show in Dallas, and as usual it is a great show with many exciting artists -- Johnny Cox, Jerry Newberry/Austin Stewart, Junior Knight, Randy Beavers, and the list goes on. Donna Newberry sang two beautiful selections with Jerry on the Mullen and Austin playing bass. One new artist at the jam was David Hartley from the United Kingdom. David wowed everyone with his rendition of OBS.
A few photos:
Although everyone was enjoying this year's show great artists that we have lost during the past year -- Tom Morrell, R.D. Davis, John Hughey, and Jack Matthews were greatly missed. We also continue to mourn the loss of Peggy Emmons. May God bless the families of those who have lost loved ones this past year.

I sure hope I can make it to the Dallas show in '09 or somewhere around there. I'm seein' a picture of the GFI room. I'll probably spend some time in the GFI room when I go to Dallas because I'm a proud GFI player/owner. I'm so glad the show's goin' great so far.

The only report I had from Dallas is that there was not quite the attendance there was last year but everyone was having a great time.
