Do you have any scratchy AB 500K Audio-Taper Pots, from your Volume-Pedal, that have at least a 1” shaft, and you plan to throw away? If you send them to me, I will return (Double) Reg. 1st. Class Postage to you, for your time and trouble. I will accept about a total of 10 Used-Pots. Please notify me how many you wish to send, so that when I have about 10, I can ask for closure of this Post. Thanks, “Big John” www.jtshouse@webtv.net

I've seen this one before....

He's looking for "seeds" to start a pyramid scheme / chain letter that collects scratchy pots from us unwitting dupes.
Note the promise that we will get twice as many in return through registerd mail!

Call the police, bOb !!

Fellows, I think he's trying to grow a crop of volume pedals. Big John, don't forget to add Miracle Grow and remember, don't pick em until they're ripe or they won't have full travel.

Don't plant'em too deep or too close together! I did that once and didn't get any of those baby chicks to grow worth a darn!

Going up for another try, please! Still l©©king for some unwanted 500K AB or Clearostat Scratchy Audio-Taper, Volume-Pedal Pots, in otherwise good condition w/near 1” solid-shafts. I was speking to John last night and he has a very legitimate use for the pots. Instead of making jokes about a valid request, why not e-mail the man and maybe he will explain it to you.
