I got an email this morning from a friend who just lost his life long companion. His tragedy has not befallen me yet but someday it may if my wife goes first. I was reminded of an old song and melody which I recorded a few years ago here at home in my studio.

The seasons come and go
But in my heart I know

The seasons drift on by
Like clouds across the sky
But we both realize
That shadows pass

Or try to re-arrange

Through all the coming years

The seasons play their parts
And each one leaves it's mark
But I know in my heart
