I'm gonna add it as a reply...I have a bunch of these I've done...hope you enjoy! Also if anybody knows how to get tabledit to show rests instead of "p" and "q" would love to know...

Thanks for the suggestion, didn't work and no, even in notation mode there are p's and q's...I think it's a font thing...I'll write tabledit and ask. Thanks for the youtube post as well!

Scotty, if I may be so bold, might I suggest you try this voicing for the G7#9 chord at the end of bar 5/beginning of bar 6:
1-----
2-----
3-----
4-----
5--9A-
6--9--
7-----
8-----
9--9--
10----
It works well because you just have to release pedal A to get the next note. I also might add that, all the notes for the phrase in the first two measures can all be found at the 11th fret without moving to the 14th, etc, by employing your 1st and 2nd string.
Great tune, I'm glad to see someone playing it on steel.

Thanks John...I'm still new to the pedal steel and have been arranging songs to learn the neck...any advice is welcome...and as far as the notes at the same fret...let's just say my blocking isn't the best... |
