Hello fellow forumites. I'm going to be in Austin March 30th thru April 3rd and would like to hear from you players in that area some suggestions on where I might find the best country bands or players. I know my visit is on Sunday thru Wednesday and that may not be the nights with the most to offer but it is a music town after all. And I would be very happy to meet any of you while there. Buy you a beer....or 3 or 4???? Thanks, Barry Cell: 757 636 9692

Oops, sorry Barry...I didn't look closely enough at the dates...

Sunny does have some dates in Austin during your visit. She has them on her MySpace:

Hey Barry, the Sunny Sweeney band will be at the Saxon Pub Tuesday April first. No foolin'. Start time is listed at 7:00, come by and say hello. Tommy, great to see you last night, hope things are good in your world. It's always fun to mangle the great stuff you played on Sunny's record; even better when you're there in person to hear it!

Mangle? I hardly think so...I think you made some improvements!

BUT, if you ever want me to show you the lazy man's way of playing that lick at the end of "Next Big Nothin", just holler....(moving the bar is way to exhausting for me) Wink

And thanks Joe....

And there's Leslie and Ricky. They don't list any Austin dates during your stay though, but you may want to check her MySpace again as time draws nigh...
