Short-lived, musically memorable NBC radio show by the virtuoso guitarist/recording innovator, his vocalist wife Mary Ford, and their bass/percussion partner Ed Stapleton.

There's a nice article about him in the March/April issue of AARP magazine. In the late forties I spent a lot of days in the municipal swimming pool where they blasted Les Paul and Mary Ford songs all day. That was heaven to me.

Thanx for that, Gary! Archive is one of my favorite sites.

Their version of Summertime was nice. I prefer Les' playing of the last few decades over his prime time material w/Mary, but there was some of that here as well.
