For my friends in "No Peddlers" land, here is a copy of a posting I put up in the electronics section. Looking for some help, please.

"I recently acquired two Fender volume pedals. These are the type with the swivel top that adjusts the tone. They look almost brand new but one of the pedals does not change the tone and I have discovered the capacitor is missing from the circuit. The other one does change the tone from bassier to normal amp setting (or more treble) but it does not do it gradually. It is more of an on/off type effect. Is this the correct way for the tone change to work? If any one knows the correct values for the components (the two potentiometers and a capacitor) I would greatly appreciate an email. ( tommyd@mindspring.com ) Or, if anyone might have a schematic diagram of this old classic volume pedal I would be very grateful for a copy. Thanks for all your help."
