Dallas will have "Grits"

Well, not only the ham & grits, or sausage & grits, but...country music "grits". Having finished my most recent CD project Donna and I were trying to come up with a title to convey that it is 100% country. So, she said since we are from the South we should know a little bit about Southern, country traditions. Like grits! Yeah, grits are a country staple for us Southerners (and I've seen a few "Northerners" helping themselves at the buffet lines,too). Anyway, the new CD is titled STEEL GRITS and will be available at the TSGA.

Sounds like a great CD and I like the really like the name.

But having been raised a northerner, I am somewhat ignorant. Wouldn't steel grits be kind of hard on the choppers? Plus probably would need a cast-iron stomach to digest 'em? Then those going home by air will probably trigger the metal detectors. Smile

I remember the first time I ever heard of GRITS. The waitress at the cafe told me they are real good and they are a tradition here in the south so I told her to go ahead and put two or three of em on my plate and I'll try em out and see. Laughing

Thanks for asking about the POD brackets. (Actually I got so involved pluggin' the new CD I almost forgot about plugging the PODs and brackets! I bet Cohen wouldn't have let that happen.) But, yes, I will have several brackets and a few POD XTs with steel presets as well. I won't have a big supply but if you'd like to send me an email I will gladly save you one.

Tommy on my way back to base "Camp Atterbury" in 1952 on my Harley I stopped in Kentucky and ordered 2 over light with grits the waitress said what is grits? she tried to sell me cream of wheat, she said I can give you a subtitute, she broughtr out 2 eggs, and 2 slices of tomatoes a wedge of lettece and a spoon full of mananase. Went together better than expected Was supprised Kentucky did not know what grits were.
This CD looks like a winner order on the way.
