Found one in a pawn shop for $160. I know it was worth it, and have since thought about the extremely intense super hot rod mod from Ken Fox. Anyone had one, and if so, what do you think about it?
Ken has worked on my effects and I love what he has done.
Thanks,

Hi Rick, seems you got a bargain there. If you gig regularly, you may consider having a separate head made as I have on my Nashville 400 and my Evans Fet 500 LV.... your back will appreciate it

Rick,
Ken's mod puts the NV400 "over the top". You could get this jewel, have it modded, and still have less in it than what they typically sell for without the mod. I wouldn't think twice about it! |

I picked up a NV400 stock amp for $150 and had a good friend do the mod to it (same as Ken Fox's) and it is an unbelievable difference. You won't regret it. Total $ invested under $400 even with new reverb tray installed and it is great.

Have no fear in sending your amp to Ken for his mod. Cleaner note seperation, cleaner ,clearer lows. It will not be anything like the amp you sent him, guaranteed!!!! Happy Trails |
