Hey Bob,
I cannot answer that question but assume it is just an older model but I will find out when I call them, and sorry if it took so long to reply I didn't have the notification box checked. |

I read somewhere that SE means "small enclosure" and LE means "large enclosure". I have an LE. Please correct me if I am wrong or have heard something else. _________________ Keep pickin', Larry |

RE200 is "The Ron Eschete 200"
JE200 is "The Jazz Enclosure 200"
SE200 is "The Steel Enclosure 200"
AH200 is "The Amp Head 200"
RES200 is "The Speaker Cabinet, fast and RESponsive"
I couldn't find "LE" on the Web-site or "E"
Anyway, just a little information, maybe not complete but hope it helps some. Check out the Web-site for more. |

Hey Allen, thanks for the info. I do have a little older Evans and found my paperwork and info. I couldn't find the LE. I called the factory several years ago and maybe they told me about the LE. The paperwork had the SE as a standard enclosure. On the back of my amp inscribed with some kind of engraving tool is E-200. Also found several other disignations. BE: Bass Evans
GH: Guitar Head
BH: Bass Head
ESPA: Evans Single Preamp
JES: JE size extention speaker
SES: SE size extention speaker
Anyway thought I would follow up a little on my part.
I may not always play my Evans but it is a keeper and not going anywhere. They are killer amps. _________________ Keep pickin', Larry |
