I have a huge website under construction, and I was wondering how many of you would like to share your copedents. This is but one of the sub-categories I have in mind. If you have it in Word, or Excel would be great...however I will convert any, and all to a suitable format. Any comments that you would like to add about WHY you have a specific change would be appreciated..Please send to jetdrivr@tx.rr.com. Nothing in your name will be published without written consent...thanks all...Mickey...Lost in Dallas somewhere...

Copedent is a table used to describe the tuning and pedal arrangement on a pedal steel guitar. The term was coined by Tom Bradshaw in an early 1970's article in Guitar Player magazine. It is short for "ChOrd PEDal arrangemENT". According to Bradshaw, the term is pronounced "co-PEE-dent".

Edited to say...I Googled "copedent", and this is what I found

Micky;
You may link to my copendent page, at: www.wiztunes.com/copedent.html. There are copedents on that page for both my E9 and C6 necks, on my Emmons push pull, with 8 p and 9 kl.

I sent both my B6 copedents; one is on the forum as it's the same one Sneaky used; the other I think I tried to post before without success, and is a mutated version of Sneaky's B6 crammed into a 3+4 10-string. Someday I'll get time to mess with trying to post it again - it's really fun, versatile and very intuitive to play.
