Was that you on my TV this morning playing a frypan? Nice job. Keep up the good work.

I know Gerald wouldn't lie, so it must have been a real frying pan.

Hey thanks, Jack. We were promoting a concert hosted by Ainsley Halemanu's Halau that will take place in mid July. ( See here) I hope I wasn't too hard on the ears. They insisted I go direct and I have no idea what I sounded like in the mix.

I thought the appropriate hail was "Ahoy, Jeff Au Hoy."

It takes a big frypan for the Loco Moco, Brah. I don't know if they have that on the menu in Michigan.

Sorry for the thread drift, but Jeff, I see that your link for the announcement of the concert is on Ray Sowders page. Too bizarre...

My hapa-haole band, Haole Kats!!! played a concert with Ray back in December 2004 here in the St. Petersburg, Florida area. He did the first part of the show solo slack-key, and then we finished up. I also played steel with Ray on several tunes during his set, at his request. Good ki ho'alu player, from as much as I know about the genre, anyway...

Looks like a nice concert. Gotta love those hours!
