Just thought I would share some pictures of my new MSA Superslide. The Brandywine Red color is just stunning. It really is more stunning in life---just hard to capture with a camera lens.
It is tuned to Reece's 12 string tuning and it plays like a charm. Sounds great!!! The detail in craftsmanship is really superb. The hard shell case is really one that hugs it well and protects it in the form fitted foam rubber area in the central part of the case. The stand fits right inside the case nicely also. Light to carry even with the hard shell case. It's really a looker as far as I'm concerned. If you like red then you will like the looks and sound of this lap steel.

Very cool!
I don't know if its just the tint of the photo, but I don't believe I've seen one with a natural wood grain finish on the side of the neck
And the stand is a plain metallic color without the logos, is this new?
One suggestion, Gary. I think if you took the photos with a plain background the guitar would stand out more. It has a lot of competition from that floral-themed sofa!

Congrats on your new axe! You're going to love it. I really like that hard shell case too. Room for the stand and everything. Reece, Kyle and the gang do a great job of thinking out their product. Top notch.

What keep it from sliding off the stand? Does it lock on somehow?

The stand has three nubs that protrude and the base of the SS has three receptacles where the nubs set in.
Geeze Harry, do i have to explain this to you? You have kids! |

Thanks for all the replies about the Superslide. It is sure turning out to be a smooth playing, sweet sounding instrument. Seems like I can play songs on this lap that I could not on others that I have tried.
I have found out it does sound good through about all amps I've tried, but best so far in the Fender Steel King.
Lots of bite to it, just something special about it. I would say a great purchase.
Maybe a little more than others, but once played you wouldn't want to do without that tone and ease of playing. And I don't say that if I don't mean it.
I plan on playing it June 25th. at the CISGA event and try it out live there. I feel more excited about playing it than pedals right now.

Gary, a word of caution. The Super Slide is highly addictive. So just be careful.
What struck me about mine is the pure tone. The thing just sings to me.

Sorry the pictures were taken down for a short while, and are back up. Didn't mean for that to happen.
