It was great and a lot of fun. Jay Dee played awesome and there were some other great players there as well. Thanks Mike for letting me be a part of this.

Thanks Ron, Jim, the folks at El Arco Iris, all the great steel players who participated in the 2008 LA Steel Jam!

Three cheers most of all to Mike Perlowin for organizing such an inspiring event!

David it was a true pleasure to see you at Perl-Jam and listen to you make the pretty blond Carter sing!
Let me know if you get the San Jose jam happening, I'd love to come up there and play some music and maybe a round or two of golf!!
Say "hi" to your lovely wife too! We were outside talking during the afternoon, sweet lady, your a lucky dog! LOL

Thanks Jim for the kind words about Patty.... I'll tell ya, any woman who will stick by a whacked out steel picker for 34 years is a keeper (like my '70 MSA D10.... ah, I hope Patty doesn't read this Smile ).

Ya know, maybe we can get you up in this neck of the woods this summer.... and I could join you in catching some of the many great steel pickers north of Buckersfield..... now that sounds like a fun time!

Rand,
It was a pleasure to meet you and hear your playing at Perl-Jam. Really liked your custom foam job in that light weight case too!
