Some great music can now be heard at the Jerry Byrd web site. For the sounds of the late Billy Walker and Jerry's "pedal sounds" on a lap steel go to: http://www.jerrybyrdfanclub.com/JerrysMusic.htm

Ray, great selection! Not only Jerry's terrific playing, but also the best vocal I've heard on these clips of yours. Thanks and keep 'em coming...

About the vocals...... He didn't pick 'em. He just played the best he could when he was hired to do so. Always tried to do his best.
I've got some that would make your fillings fall out.......but it wasn't Jerry's fault.
