I saw a question about this in another section.

Here's little finger licking Chicken Pickin example. I used this Haggardty Guitar sounding steel intro(when played right) on “The Bottle Let Me Down”, Friday night w/Joe Smuck-a-Tele and the Boys. Didn’t have a lead guitar player or drummer. They were able to follow this and get into the song. Be sure to cut the notes off short to get that guitar sound.
