Topic: can't get printer working |

My co-worker asked me if I could help. She has an HP printer that was working. She had to move the desk and the printer got jostled. After that, the light just blinks. She uninstalled and reinstalled but still the same. Any thoughts as to what's going on?

| Check the USB cable connection between the Printer and the PC. That would be my first thing to do/check. |

Ron,
My HP does the same and it's a simple " turn everything off and then back on"!Power wise...not just reboot!

| Ihave a lexmark x85 .The printer will scan and print from the printer but i can not print any thing from my pc,any ideas?I am new to the SGF AND hope i am in the right post area,any help would be greatly appreciated thanks guys and gals.DEL |

The Lexmark X85 was well known to have the problem you describe. It's been a couple of years ago but from what I remember the new drivers from Lexmark took care of the problem, or at least most of the problems.
First step, download and install the latest drivers from Lexmark. |
