Just came across this on the web and thought it might be fun to listen to. Go to this site... http://www.jlsmusic.com/johnstevens_music.html
and click on "Always strong, never tired"
Not only did I play my Lap Steel on the track, 2 tracks actually, there's one in the background doing the 12th fret with a capo under the strings chorus sound thing, I also did the CD design for the cover.

Masterful Mike, the sus 4 and release on the "Ghost" guitar is very effective, as is the "My sweet Lord" type of gliss into some of the fills..
Give us some VIDEO of you picking !!

Sorry Basil, I don't have anything of me on the Lap Steel. Plenty of stills but no video. |

Mike, that is one real gorgeous sound and shows what steel guitar can do that no other instrument on earth can! Just what we need to get steel guitar out of the closet and into the mainstream again!
If you have not released this track and got air time for it, maybe you should consider doing so...
Congratulations!
