A little shameless self-promo....
After dragging our feet for a while, we finally have our self-titled debut CD available at CD Baby. We've included clips of each song on the CD for your dining and dancing pleasure! BTW, I used my ex-Bigsby on all of the electric steel cuts, except for "Honolulu Moon", where I used my '50ish Fender Deluxe 8--And I used my '28 Style 2 National Tricone on the acoustic steel cuts.
Check it out, and if you feel so inclined, positive reviews are welcome on the site!

Oh, and I just got my order confirmation that it has been sent - really funny, you gotta read this:
"Your CD has been gently taken from our CD Baby shelves with
sterilized contamination-free gloves and placed onto a satin pillow.
A team of 50 employees inspected your CD and polished it to make sure
it was in the best possible condition before mailing.
Our packing specialist from Japan lit a candle and a hush fell over
the crowd as he put your CD into the finest gold-lined box that money
can buy.
We all had a wonderful celebration afterwards and the whole party
marched down the street to the post office where the entire town of
Portland waved 'Bon Voyage!' to your package, on its way to you, in
our private CD Baby jet on this day, Thursday, May 18th.
I hope you had a wonderful time shopping at CD Baby. We sure did.
Your picture is on our wall as 'Customer of the Year'. We're all
exhausted but can't wait for you to come back to CDBABY.COM!!"

Thanks for the compliments Herman and Jesse. He Jesse, are you still in Ramona?
Roman--thanks for being the first to step up and place our very first CD Baby order! How cool: The Kahuna Cowboys are taking Europe by storm!

Dana, I've been house sitting in a million dollar house over looking Mission bay and the ocean since last summer. We are in the process of moving back to Ramona as I speak and hope to start playing at the Cheer's open mic real soon, maybe we could meet up there? |

Hi Guys. I've had my copy for almost two years when Dana first mentioned it, and even after all this time and with the hundreds of CD's I have, I still dig it out for friends to hear. It's a very listenable CD, a great mix. Keep up the good work Dana, and good luck with the CDBaby distribution. George |

George:
Thanks so much for the props!
Jesse:
That would be cool to hook up at Cheers. What kind of stuff are you doing? Also, if you feel so inclined, I'm doing an Electric Blues gig, sitting in with Chet Cannon on 5/27 in the afternoon (3-7:30), at Patricks II. Come on down!
Once again, the Kahuna Cowboys would love it if any of you folks would be kind enough to leave a review of our CD on the CD Baby page--just scroll down the page and follow the link. BTW, watch for the formal announcement of our new CD shortly!
Thanks again, DD |
