Was watching "How It's Made" on the Discovery Channel
yesterday. And to my surprise, they had one segment on how the pedal steel is made.
They tell you right in the beginning of the episode what 3 or 4 topics will be on, and all of a sudden I heard the steel, and there was a cat playing one.
I was watching for the label, and eventually it turned out to be a Fulwaka.
It was a cool segment, but hardly long enough. I'm sure that episode will be re-run in no times soon.
FWIW.

Chip, you are way behind
That has been running for several months. There are a couple of previous forum threads about it.
The steeler is Ollie Strong, one of Canada's finest. Ollie is "snowbirding" here in Florida for a couple of months. I've been jamming with him every Tuesday since he got down. |

Jack,
I had a sneaking suspicion when I was typing up the post that someone had posted it previously.
Can't believe I missed it, especially for a couple of months - I watch that show all the time (well, almost all the time) and it's constantly repeating.
Oh well, go figure
Yeah, what little Ollie played, sounded just fine.
Thanks,
