Bob,
My LDG is a '76 model according to one of my Sho-Bud Techs..Mr. Ricky Davis...My serial # is in the 12,000 range and has the Gumby Keyhead, slick/narrow peds and curved knee levers. It also has the 3-D fretboard...The changer is a Triple Raise/Double Lower and the cabinet is the large, square front style...hope this helps a little...I'll yield to Ricky D. for the exact year...Carl

Shobud serial numbers are generally useless. The closest identifiers are the parts used to make the guitars. Post pics. Undercarriage, front of body, pedals, knee levers. Combinations of parts can sometimes nail the year. If you don't know how to post pics, email me for simple instructions.
