I was listening to my video of the E9 concert with Lloyd Green and Tommy White again today. This has become one of my favorite steel recordings. It would be fantastic if there was a volume 2 made!

How about it Lloyd and Tommy, any plans for another one?

Joe, that video is awesome! I've met both Tommy and Lloyd, but in two different places. I met Tommy at the Opry and Lloyd at the ISGC. Tommy played steel on a song by country singer John Michael Montgomery called "The Little Girl" and Lloyd played on Alan Jackson's song "Remember When".

Hi Brandon,
I got mine from Tommy's website about a year and a half ago. His website seems to be gone now so maybe someone out there will know where to get it. I'm hoping it will come out on DVD.

I burned mine onto DVD. It will last longer than VHS tape and it is quick to search through the chapters. It is one of my favourite videos. The instrument mix is very good, and the camera work is great with no-one jumping in front of the camera as they tend to do on most steel guitar shows.

A couple of the backing musicians pop up on the Time Jumpers DVD in the shape of drummer (Rick Vanaugh) and bass player(Dennis Crouch). I think Dennis may also be on the Superslide Off DVD.

Both Rick and Dennis are very busy musicians! They are also both members of the Staff Band at all our n.t.s.g.a. Super Jams. You can't stump them with any tune you choose to play! They're great!!!

I burnt a cd so I could listen in the car. Great playing by both and I too, would love a E9 #2. How about Lloyd and Tommy????? #1 was with a JCH and a Derby. Now you guys are playing a Sho-Bud or Show Pro? and a MSA so, you need to give us another one to compare guitars.

I've always thought they missed a great opportunity when choosing a name for this great DVD. Instead of calling it 'An Evening of E9' they shoulda called it 'An Evening of Green and White'. The packaging and marketing implications are clear.

Hey Tommy, my friend; Would you please furnish we forumites with some accurate data on how we can possibly purchase this Video [ DVD ] about An Evening of E-9, featuring Lloyd and yours-truly. I know I would definitely order a copy; Any chance of our getting one, Tommy? Enjoying your playing on The Crook and Chase TV Show on RFD Channel. That idea of doing a second Evening of E-9th sounds great. Please make us happy..Bernie Laughing Rolling Eyes

Guys - as far as I know this project was only put out on VHS. I burnt my copy onto DVD as I prefer it as a medium. For copyright reasons, that is the only one I will be making as it is for my own use. It's easy enough to do.
