Olsson.
The song is "Nature's Way," which was originally done
by Spirit in 1970.
It sounds like there's two distinct dobro tracks going on here. The playing and recorded sound is just brilliant IMHO.
This track appears on the album "Nigel Olsson's Drum Orchestra and Chorus," released here on Uni Records in 1971.
Sadly, my copy was lost in a flood a couple years ago, and worse, the album hasn't ever been re-released in any form. Too bad, because on the whole it's a fine one and stands up to the well known releases of that era.
BJ mostly plays dobro on this album. I think there is one or two cuts that have pedal steel, but it's
the dobro stuff that stands out here.
