Auction on eBay.

This is a pretty neat looking instrument. Check out the elaborate bridges. Anybody have one?

This is my guitar - a friend is selling it for me. I hope it finds a good home. If anyone has any question post here or email me. Or ask them through EBay - they'll probably get forwarded on to me.

It's a good instrument with a great sound, but I'm just not playing it anymore - it's been in the case for almost a year, adn when I feel like playing steel I use my 8-string acoustic. I realised I'm never going to get good enough to gig on it with the kind of players I'd want to play with.

I think Framus instruments are under-rated in North America - I have a Framus banjo I like a lot. A good luthier told me that Framus instruments were well-made and sound good, but they're "weird" - a lot of interesting design differences from American counterparts.

True, but they're very framus in Japan....

How do you like that? Comedy becomes reality!

Wonder if the buyer saw my joke?

I've got a single neck version of this steel. It's got the same preset fingers things on the bridge. Mine has two six string pickups that are angled to cover all 8 strings. Weird, I guess they ran out of 8 string pickups.

It seems like from the questions asked of the seller, the shipping is more than the guitar is worth. Of course they are not in the US.

Pickup seems really far from the bridge.
