In my continuing quest to identify Troman Eason's Hawaiian steel guitar teacher I am looking for copies of the Hawaiian Guitarist magazine circa 1936-37. I will gladly pay for photocopies or, better yet, scans.

Does anyone know when the name of this magazine (an Oahu publication) was changed from The Hawaiian Guitarist to The Guitarist? If not, maybe we could figure it out by identifying the earliest date of The Guitarist someone has collected.

Thanks Don.

I'm surprised that there aren't some collectors of "The Hawaiian Guitarist magazine out there. It's very cool.
