I just sent Danny a money order, & will post my impressions once I get the case.
I used a fiber snare drum case for years to haul all the stuff in my steel seat. It worked great and still looks good after 30 years.
I have seen stereo steel set ups with the slanted cabinets on the fiber cases they travel in.

Danny, how much does the case weigh and would it be strong enough to use if sending the amp using an airline? Is there much space between the amp and inside of the case? Thanks steve t

Anybody heard from Danny lately? I've e-mailed him two weeks ago - never heard anything from him. Called him early yesterday and got voice mail, but no response.

I'd like to buy one of the cases but obviously not having much luck.

I got my cover via UPS yesterday & used it last nite.
I put the amp on a scale.. 43.5 lbs. no cover & with the cover 48.5lbs.
It fits like a glove due to the small strips of foam on the inside.
I put Jim Eatons "Knob Guard" on my amp about a week after I got it and had D2F send me a soft cover. I still was concerned about being sure to pick it up with the backside facing me and watched out going thru doors and loading. With this cover on, I don't even have to think about it.
I set up onstage at the casino last night and used it as an amp stand. I was concerned at first, not if it was strong enough... it is, but that it was vulnerable to being knocked off by the bass player jumping around or the soundman crawling around.. it did not move all night and I like the height, it let the other pickers hear me better and the amp was above the audiences ears.
I guess I will be selling the soft cover.
Bottom line is, it's no road case but it's way better than a soft case if you gig alot.
A pretty cool product from Danny.. thanks
