I have a 1969 Fender Princeton for sale. It is one of the best sounding princetons I have ever heard. There has been some mods to it. Someone has added a standby switch in the second 1/4 inch input slot. Also, the transformer has been changed to a beefier one. The plug has been changed to a grounded one. I had the amp on the road in an ata road case (included.) The road case is actually made for aircraft parts but the amp fits in there rather nicely (see picture)
It still has the 6V6 RCA power tubes and original rectifier. The preamp tubes are electro harmonix and sound incredible. It has been gone over by an amp tech and has a clean bill of health. Great for a studio or as a backup on the road (which is what I did)
I would like to sell it locally in the Nashville area (it's on craigslist) but am open to shipping it elsewhere (USA only). Since it has the ATA case (I got from fellow forum-member Kurt Graber), it should arrive

with no difficulty. I will guess-timate the shipping costs at $40 in continental US plus insurance.

Mike, has that got a 10" speaker in it, and can a 12" speaker be used if one were to build a new baffle board?

Hey Mike,
It has what I believe to be the original 10" speaker. I have heard of guys making a new baffle board and putting a 12 inch speaker in them, but I have never tried that myself.
