Is there a message here? I put some steel guitar music on the stereo in my music room, and my ole cat Baxter, jumped up on the chair at my CG. He's never got on that chair before!!!!! Is he trying to tell me something?

Baxter does have a message. He's saying, "what's this for? I play nothing but a Fender steel guitar."

Yes, he is. He is saying, "I am going to learn to play this thang before that dumb monkey (in the background)learns to play it."

Hi guys, and thanks for the comments. That monkey in the background is Curious George!!! We've been living here five years and Baxter usually departs when music is being played.

The resophonic in the background is a Jay Turser - kind of a nifty beast.

that's what i thought it was. Sorry to divert attention from your cat, but i'm curious, how does it sound? More like an electric or a reso? I almost bought one of those a while back (got out bid on e-bay), and i'm wondering if i missed out.

"I could get a good nap on that thing if he'd take those danged strings off".

I got the Jay Turser at the right price, so I couldn't turn it down!!!! It's not something that I would really play, which sounds stupid I know, but it's kind of a conversational piece in my music room. And yes, it sounds more like an electric, and feels like a boatanchor it is so heavy!!!!

I never thought of ole Baxter trying to get up on the CG. He's a funny ole beast. Geo
