I was late securing my travel plans and missed out on a room reservation for the Sheraton. I'd really like to get a room in the host hotel for Thursday-Sunday. If anyone has a cancellation or knows of an opening, can you keep me in mind? One queen or two double beds, it doesn't matter. Thanks.

Hey Chris, glad You'll be in Dallas. I'll be sure to meet ya this time.

If all else fails the Red Roof has rooms and a shuttle to the Sheraton.

I booked a single for $49.

Thanks, Jim. I did notice the Red Roof Inn thread that Herb started. Maybe I should book a room there anyway and take my chances on the Sheraton when I get there.

I look forward to meeting you. I'll be playing Louis Halford's Friday night talent night. Should be fun.

Does anyone know if all rooms, including suites, are gone at the Sheraton now? I've tried to call the last few nights but the reservations desk closes early in my time zone, before i get home in the day.

Chris,
The Red Roof Inn isn't to bad.
I stayed there last year.
I'm fixing to call them in a few minutes to try to book me a room.
I'll post the room rates later this evening for anyone that wants to know.

I just booked a room with a king bed, fridge and micro-wave at the steel show price at Red Roof Inn.
I got it at a steal, 49.99 a night.
You can't beat that price.

Thanks for the heads-up, Colby. I am on a lead for a Sheraton room now, but may just book the Red Roof anyway to cover my butt.
