I just saw this on a re-run on my local PBS station. Charley sang Just Between you and Me. Just Charley and Lloyd with a little drum work from Lawrence's orchestra, nothing else. Wikipedia dates the appearance to 1967.
The two of them made a very fine, simple sound. Both looked very young. |

I caught that show one night as well on PBS. Pretty cool to see those guys in action. The other part that was cool was Lawrence gave Lloyd as much credit as Charley. _________________ Kent |

Yes! I just caught how Lloyd does that 9th fret C#7th lick (on the V) at the end of the intro! I'm working this tune as an instrumental and couldn't crack that little nut until now. Thanks for posting! _________________ Jackson Steel Guitars
