Last night, Feb 9th, my wife, Linda, and I had the pleasure of attending a perfomance of "A Closer Walk With Pasty Cline. Gail Bliss plays the part of Patsy and let me tell you when she is on stage she is Patsy Cline. Gail is a wonderful performer and really gets into her part. Much study has gone into her performance. Our own Russ Wever is playing non pedal on a Fender, his Zum pedal, and Dobro as well. I don't think I need to tell any one how great a job he does. Erc Lewis plays great lead guitar, Andy Carroll plays a wonderful standup bass,Brian Aylor is great on drums, Gary Butler is wonderful on keyboards and my ole buddy Mark Thomas Baczynski burns it up on fiddle.Dan Embree was superb in his role as well. The show is performing at "The Ivory Theater" in south St. Louis through Feb. 16. This was a great two hours of music and frolic. If you will be any where close this is a must see. Thanks to all involved for a wonderful time. My Best, Bobby

This IS a fantastic show. What a line up of musicians.
I had the opportunity to do this show with the Racine Wisconsin Theatre Guild in 2004. We wound up doing 4 encore performances as the show kept selling out.
Get out and catch this show if you can. You won't be disapointed..Bill

Well put Bobby. My wife Sherry and I attended the show on Friday night and thought it was spectacular. And I'm one of those guys that fakes an illness at her desperate pleas to take her to a musical. For sure a must see if you are within striking distance of St. Louis. It was great to see my old buddy Russ and listen to his brilliant playing. He never ceases to amaze me. The whole band and Gail for sure captured the sound and feel from the era.
