A change in pace. This title song from the 1948 film "Green Dolphin Street" ( starring Lana Turner and Richard Hart) has become a jazz standard. It was composed by Bronisław Kaper. The song has been recorded by Sarah Vaughan, Tony Bennett, Ahmad Jamal, John Coltrane, Miles Davis, and other notables. Miles Davis is credited for having made it a hit after languishing in the sidelines for a decade after WWII.
The arrangement is with the lead on steel guitar, C6 West Coast. Vibraphone (Roland E-09) and rhythm guitar (Gibson Chet Atkins) tracks by me. Key of Eb and some of the intro and outro chords in the arrangement feature my favourite Eb 6/9s.

Good song choice, Kay. There's a lot to listen to in there. Nice job. _________________ Don't go in the water after lunch. You'll get a cramp and drown. - Mother. |

Good to hear from you, David. In the early stages of planning a trip to Oz next year, though plans and invitations are currently centred around Perth...
