Regretfully Del, Dixie, and Mike will not be able to make the show. Dixie has had something happen to her shoulder. She was putting on a Church Dinner yesterday, and has had something pop in her fake shoulder. She is in some pain. She is going to go to Denver to get to the bottom of it. So keep her in your prayers.

Mullen will be represented at the show. Visit out demo room where the Newberry's and Stewarts will be demoing the New G2's. Try one, buy one, and have a great time. We are very sorry we cannot make it as we were looking forward to seeing a lot of people. As hard as it is to believe the show will go on. We will be there (in the sun) in spirit.

HAVE A GREAT TIME AND VISIT OUR ROOM!!!

Sincerely,
Mullen Guitars

Tell Dixie to slow down when she's winding those pickups! The new parts in her shoulder probably aren't broken in yet.

Give Dixie my best, Mike. I sure had hoped to connect with all you good Mullen folks in Phoenix this year.

The G2 steels are fantastic, and Austin and Jerry sounded fantastic playing them in their sets.

Young Austin is already a phenomenal player, he's already as good as most of the long-time pro players...and this from a 13-year old! There oughta be a law, ha. He played almost flawlessly, with extreme finesse and taste.

For my first-ever steel show, I'm pleased to report that my 1991 Mullen D-12 got a lot of compliments on tone. I had it coupled with my trusty JBL-loaded Webb amp, that's a key part, too, but my Mullen has magic tone already. Glad others could hear it that way!

I would like to Thank all the fine folks at Mullen and Jerry Newberry for allowing me to play the new G2 on my set on Thursday afternoon. It played great and sounded good from where I was setting. There was a lot of picking going on in the Mullen room. Jerry and Austin's sets were fantastic. They get a great sound out of the combination of steel and amplification set up that they have. It is unbelieveable how Austin has arrived at the level that he is at. A fine polite young man to boot.

Hope to see all of you in Dallas.

Thanks John and George for the fine comments about my guys. Jerry and I are VERY PROUD of Austin. Not only of his picking, but as a young man. Most people don't believe me when we tell them how he pesters us at home. Guess we will just have to get some of his pranks on video some time. See everyone in Dallas I hope.
