I just have to say that I recently ordered a tab rack from Tom Bradshaw and it has made my life of learning a lot easier. Reading from tab is more convenient, and it can hold picks, bar, and tuner. It looks pretty slick and is really easy to attach to your steel. If anybody is sitting on the fence about ordering one I would highly recommend it. Tom is also a great guy to deal with.

I too have one of Tom Bradshaw's tab racks, and like Lyle says it has made my life of learning a lot easier. It looks pretty slick and is really easy to attach to your steel. I wholeheartedly agree that if anybody is sitting on the fence about ordering one I would highly recommend it. You won't be sorry. Tom is also a great guy to deal with.

Heres One:

This is on my MSA S-12 Classic, I would be lost without this thing. Has to be the best dollar I ever spent on a steel accessory & needs no batterys, or power, except of course your mind power!! Tom is a great guy to deal with, buy one today, you won't be sorry!!

I have one of Tom's Tab Racks and it works great for me also. The only caution I would advise is if you own a Sierra it won't work on the Sierra legs.

I bought one of Tom's rack back in the mid 70s. I've had it, and used it, ever since, and love it.

After a hiatus of about 8 years, I started playing again and pulled out the Rack, but couldn't find the leg clips. One call to Tom, and a week later a new set of leg clips showed up at my door!!

Tom is the best! And his Tab Rack is tough and sturdy. I recommend it highly to anyone who works with tab or charts.

I just got one of Tom's TAB racks and love it. Not only do I no longer have to hassle with a music stand that takes up room and is farther away from the steel, but the rack is well built and super wide, so I can put a lot of stuff on it, including picks/bar. I also appreciate that it's custom fabricated and built to last. I also enjoyed Tom's sense of humor! Razz

The last time I communicated with Scotty, he said that his stand was no longer available. Unless, he found someone to start building them for him again.

it is pretty cool for holding multiple pages of music.. The only down side I found is it gets in the way of playing harmonics..

From Tom's website:

For Sierra guitar owners, I have clips that fit your square legs! I’ve sold a few hundred of these and not one has been returned. I like that record. ...Tom

Add me to the list of satisfied users. I swear that thing would hold the LA Yellow Pages. It works well to hold charts and stuff, but I find myself using it for my tuner, cell phone, extra bar, etc. as well.

A couple of the very small binder clips are nice in case you are outside and the wind comes up. (Don't ask me how I know)

Tom has got to be one of the best guys on the planet. I was looking for a book he printed back in the late 70's. I emailed him about it and said it was long out of print. Low and behold, one showed up in the mail a couple weeks ago. He is just the greatest!

Thanks for the posting, it reminds me I need to thank him for the book!
