This is a brand new Blueridge BR-73 that is one great sounding , ornate instrument ..The sound hole, and the purfling, and the frets are done in Abalone, while the headstock is MOP ...It's an OM shape that is perfect for finger picking , and it's Rosewood with a Sitka Spruce top ...This guitar sounds as good as it looks ...Plenty of punch and sustain with depth to go along with it ...These guitars are a tremendous value ....Musicians Friend sells these for 7 hundred and change ....Mine still has the plastic on the pickgaurd and you can have mine for $600 shipped with a hard case !!....The neck is not wide enough for me ...It is 1 11/16 at the nut ...I play a minimum of 1 3/4 ...This guitar was played for 2 minutes !!...My loss is your gain ...This is a BRAND NEW instrument ...$600 in the form of a Postal Money Order get's it shipped to the lower 48 states ...I will NOT ship out of the country ...Sorry...Thanks for looking.....Sincerely, Jim

My brother has a Blueridge and they are beautiful sounding and playing guitars. Infact, he sold his Martin soon after!
I place the Blueridge second in sound only to my 1969 Gibson Hummingbird!

There are very few hidden treasures out there to be found ....Sometimes you can find clones or less expensive instruments or whatever , that really amaze you and make you scratch your head ....The Blueridge line is just that ...Grant it , you may not get a lifetime warranty or other perc's , but for quality workmanship, and quality materials, and for the TONE , you really can't beat a Blueridge with all things considered ... I STILL look at the quality, and can only imagine what the cost of just the Abalone on this guitar is worth .... I would venture to say that it would cost you the price I am asking for this guitar, for you to go out and buy the Abalone material , never mind having it put on a guitar !!!.. ...This is some serious BLING !!
The beauty of it is that the guitar DOES sound as good as it looks !!....You really have to hear this thing !!...It's got a very mature tone !!....Jim |

Bump for a Blueridge!
I've played several of the Blueridge guitars even in the lower price range and they have no problem at all staying right in the mix with my Martin D35. They've got the tone, the loudness, the looks, the craftsmanship is just remarkable for the price. It's pretty amazing when you can compare a $350 guitar to a $2500 guitar. Someone will be totally happy with this guitar, if you're "not sure" or don't want to take the chance trust me on this you can't go wrong with one of these guitars. _________________ Benjamin Turner |

OK...I guess there are no takers out there at $600 ....I'm really surprised ...This is a very nice instrument and well worth the money ...How about $550 and I cover the shipping to the lower 48 ....Come on, it's brand new !!..The line you see on the pick guard is the plastic that covers it !!..What do you have to trade ? ...An old 12 string pedal steel that you don't need ??.. ...Thanks for looking ....Jim |

Mark,
The picture of the back is the wood grain of the guitar , but it is not nearly as RED as the picture shows...I will try to take a picture in a different light to give you a more accurate idea of the color of the wood if you need it ....I don't want you to think that this is the accurate color and when you open the box you see a different color ...The wood is what it is, but the color is off...Please advise ...Thanks, Jim |
