Here's a thread on the subject from a while back. The consensus opinion seems to be that it's Buddy Emmons, but I'd still love to know for sure. What a great steel part!

Thanks, Pete. Wish I could find more stuff that sounds like this. Beautiful and unique. I'll check out some more Walter Haynes since this is the first time I've heard of him. I've got lots of Buddy, but nothing in this style.
