One of my late 30s Gibsons has a volume/tone knob with a stripped set screw hole.
I've tried to find a replacement knob for some time and haven't been able to find one on Ebay for about 6 months. They must be really scarce.
Is there a good way to repair the knob?

Would it be possible to fill that hole in and drill and tap another hole? Or maybe fill the original hole (J-B Weld) and redrill and tap it.
