Was told it was a 66 , 2611 stamped on C6th side ???

Looks to me like an invoice # early '66 bolt-on.

i believe you are right, Trap. even without knowing the number, it appears to be '66 bolt on. is it for sale Mr. Warren?

I am going to estimate the guitar to be from later 1966 rather than early 1966 based upon the size of the cut out for the changer fingers, the flocking and, well, the 26xx invoice number.

Since there's no "D" after the invoice number, around late '66 is about right.
Most of the '67 Bolt ons had the "D" on 'em.

I have a D-10, metal necked bolt on with a serial no. of 1067D and this one is supposed ot be a 1966 model.

Did you get that guitar from Frank Parish? My records indicate he was the last owner. Also, is the guitar black or rosewood mica?

I've had that guitar for a couple of years. I forget who I bought it from.
It is a beautiful black mica with decal logo and an 8 x 8 configuration.
Everything under the hood is polished and one of my prize guitars. Very Happy

I don't think I have a picture of that particular guitar.
I do have a picture of the guitar I bought from you, though, after I did some work on it. It is serial no. 1002.
