I am going to estimate the guitar to be from later 1966 rather than early 1966 based upon the size of the cut out for the changer fingers, the flocking and, well, the 26xx invoice number.

Since there's no "D" after the invoice number, around late '66 is about right.
Most of the '67 Bolt ons had the "D" on 'em. |

Did you get that guitar from Frank Parish? My records indicate he was the last owner. Also, is the guitar black or rosewood mica? _________________ My rig: Infinity and Telonics.
Son, we live in a world with walls, and those walls have to be guarded by men with steel guitars. Who's gonna do it? You? You, Lt. Weinberg? |

Herb,
I've had that guitar for a couple of years. I forget who I bought it from.
It is a beautiful black mica with decal logo and an 8 x 8 configuration.
Everything under the hood is polished and one of my prize guitars. |

Buster,
I don't think I have a picture of that particular guitar.
I do have a picture of the guitar I bought from you, though, after I did some work on it. It is serial no. 1002.
