Topic: GFI's near Lakeland or the Tampa Bay area of FL? |

I was wondering if anyone in the area of Tampa, St. Petersburg, or Lakeland has a GFI? I'm anticipating a purchase in the next few months. I'd like to at lest see one in person and see if I fit under it without extended length legs. Its a long ways from here to a store in Nashville. A generous forum member over on the E Coast of FL offered to let me see his, but I'm trying to find someone close. Try as I may, I haven't been able to make it up to the FL Steel Guitar Club meetings - I still work, and it's been hard.

Bobbe at the Fl.club doesin fact play a GFI, come on up, he is a nice guy and most likely let you play his I have , You cannot go wrong on a GFI or a Carter, I have played both the Carter gets my vote I am thinking about a new second one.

Ernie and Sonny - Thanks. I've gotta find a way to get up to the FL Steel club jam in March, even if I have to get off work a little early. It will only take me about an hour to get there. I've wanted to get up there for months and things with work keep getting in my way. I want to be up close and personal with a GFI before buying one. I've posted about GFI's here on the forum before, and have received a lot of nice responses with raving reviews. I've done lots and lots of research too - I'm basically sold on GFI, but I still feel the need to check one out in person before dropping the cash on one.
Still, if anyone close to me has a GFI, please get with me.
