I replaced the pedal rod ends on my ZB and intended to leave the old balls on but found, although they would fit, it was uncomfortably snug.
After a close look at my balls, indeed the old balls were bigger.
After installing small balls on my ZB I became concerned that this may end with me getting no respect... in the forum.
Now the cabinet drop thing is less of an issue for me that I have neutered my ZB.
Do you guys think this will affect my tone and cabinet drop...?? do I really need big balls to play my ZB?????
Whoa! Whoa!
Please Chime in on this Issue..
Kenny

Dr. Ruth practices safe steeling. It sure is tough stretching a condom over a double 10. Whoa!

Just drop em down in a pan of gas and scrub em with a wire brush and they'll work just fine.

When I was playing ZB's, all you needed were big muscles.

Rick, guilty as charged! Someone was going to say it, so I figured better to get it out of the way so that maybe Kenny can get a serious answer out of someone.

I am living proof that one does not need a big anything to play a ZB. Now please excuse me while I hang my head in shame and go off and sob in the corner.

My wife said mine was the biggest one she'd ever seen!

But she hasn't seen that many steel guitars.

The Fender Guitar Co. developed it's own unique hook up from pedal rod to pedal, using a steel stud with 2 grooves, which was installed on the pedal.

Later they had Sho-Bud build their guitars, which used those round thingies on the pedal. Smile

I always heard a real man would use a weed eater to do his trimming but I don't think they were talking about steel guitars! Don't let them fool you, size does matter! Just hit em a time or two with a good emory cloth and soak em in epsom salt and they'll be fine!

Whoa!
