Thank for posting Mike. I sure do appreciate it. I'll buy you a milk shake when I see you, Mike (and pay you back all that money I owe you).! My main reason for the request was to honor ol Curly. He was a gentleman to me. The history of that picture is I took my ex-wife to Vegas in 86 and we stopped in to see my ol buddy Lee Holly that I met when I moved there. It was his birthday. Curly was there!! Wish Terry Bethel could of made it. So I could have shown them all a lick at the same time. lol I was nervous to sit in the same room with ol Curly but he did what he could to make feel normal. They badgered me to pick. The geetar was reverse from my guitar. Curly said to me,'you have more guts than me. I would never play on a strange guitar.' I guess I played that bad. ? But, I lived thru it. And my 2nd reason to show the picture is to, I hope, received some e-mail from good people that I met in other states in the last 20 or 30 years. Remember, I'm 29. So, we can't go back too far. To hear from fellow pickers that I met and lost would 'make my day'!

Great picture and thanks for sharing it!

Curly what a picker! I had a steel like that black classic MSA once and loved it wish I had it back sometimes. Of course couldn't never play anything like Curls, but man I sure dug his playing.

I sure miss Curly, Julian Tharpe, Zane Beck, Bob White, Speedy West and alot of the other greats we've lost in recent years.

GOD bless!

Terry

So you just had to use that picture of Curly instead of the one of me and you.

BTW-What's the name of the band you're working with these days?

Terry, I wish I had a picture of ol Zane and myself a jamin. I stayed at his house a few times. He's like ol Bud Carter, down to earth and 'real' people. Dick, I'll let that one fly. Presently I'm using that picture of you and I to help get rid of the roaches. That's what I miss about my ex-mother-in-laws cookin. Even the roaches were anterexick. (Sorry for the mis-spell but you get the pix) Another words, her cookin kept the dog from beggin at the table! Guys, I still have problem with my hands. I'll start that on anutter topic. Dick, I've been working with 'Pony Express' We're pretty busy. I may be going in for minor hand surgery this month (carpal tunnel) Surprised to workin with that handicap? Lifting heavy geetars and amps caught up with me the neurologist said. Glad I have light stuff now!

Ted,you and I just have to face the cold hard facts...you're getting old.

The good news is, I think you'll feel better once it gets fixed becuase one of the ladies at work had it done recently and she said she feels much better now.

I have been having a lot of pain in my left shoulder whenever I lift my arm or put on a shirt. From everything I've read, all the symptoms point to a torn rotator cuff so I may need surgery down the road.

In the mean time, I'll send you an 8x10 and a few wallet size pictures of me which should make you feel alot better real soon.

Ted, just looking at a milkshake will cause me to gain another 10 pounds. Can I have a V8 instead?

Terry, you asked for it. Mike and I feel (after he saw the picture) you may have to sign a disclaimer on this. Don't believe Dick Wood. He's always been jealous of my looks. In reality, Dick and I been partners in crime for a long time. He went his way and became a cop. A good friend to have. Ted
